The Daily ClusterFuck...

In Non-ClusterFuck news, my sister was assaulted by her husband last night. Currently, he is in jail, though I am sure that he will post bond or whatever the court ends up deciding to do and will be out this afternoon. My sister is doing fine, physically, and so is the baby. So yeah, I have been pretty upset about the whole situation all night. I spent quite a while outside with her just talking things through a bit and, well, we decided that he is the devil. Again, she and the baby are doing just fine. Nothing serious really happened, but there is no way in hell that it is going to happen again.

So now, in my usual attempt to make myself and the rest of the world laugh a little when things are not going as they should, here is The Daily ClusterFuck as usual...

Athens, Alabama: One of the few places to prove that, in a democracy, anyone can vote for tyranny. "Voters have a chance on Tuesday to return this northern Alabama city to the days of Prohibition."

AT&T. Are they the one's with the slogan, "Your world is ours"? I am pretty sure they are. Well the 9th Circuit Court  will hear arguments today in the case against AT&T for its role in the NSA's surveillance operation. Here's a quick recap/primer on the 4th amendment.

The New Yorker has an amazing article about Philip K. Dick. Read it and be completely mesmerized, like you should be.
