Finally Dodge Does Something Right

Unveiled a couple of days ago at the New York Auto Show, Dodge announced 2 new versions of the Challenger!!! A basic SE with a V6, which will compete with the V6 Ford Mustang and probably a V6 version of the new Camaro coming out soon. The next model is the legendary R/T, with the 5.7L Hemi V8 with an increased horsepower rating of 375! That should blow away the Mustang GT and V8 Camaro. The best part...they finally are including a manual transmission! I hope this is a step in the right direction where our dumbass American automakers will start putting manuals back into cars. Starting at around $20,000, these Challengers should be a great alternative to the SRT-8 model that is valued at $40,000, which by the way has no manual transmission...how lame. Thank you, Dodge, for finally bringing out versions of these cars that I might actually be able to afford.
