Glad to see things are starting to look up. :)
And frankly, sometimes it takes a little bit of collective dickery before things can get smoothed out.
On my end? Well, I love Canada, have quickly befriended the majority of the people here, sang a master class for the head of the NY festival of song and one of the casting directors for NYC opera - who told me my performance was emotionally devastating (much higher praise than a lot of people got), and his only suggestion was to pull it back to avoid freaking out the audience too much (I sang the angry one of the set I did in Lansing)
And... I was awarded a 5000 dollar scholarship for school next year to complete my studies.
So life ain't all that bad I suppose :)
Also - my new car is the FUCKING SHIT!!! It's like two couches on wheels. Just wait until I put some new speakers in that bitch.

Sounds great man. I'm happy for you. Life always takes delightful turns after terrible ones.
You deserve it. I mean it.
