Well Canada is amazing. I'm having an absolute blast, have made a bunch of new friends, and generally have been working my nuts off. In general, we start at 8:30am and I get home around 10:30pm. It's intense, but I already feel like I've known the people here for years because of the amount of time we spend together. A lot of people rag on me about my American accent (their favorite is how I say "backpack" - and last night they got a good laugh out of how I said "the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" - which usually comes out much more like "the wreckathee eh-mmm fitzjairl"). It's fun though - makes me kind of proud of it in a bassackwards kind of way.
It's weird being away from home for so long, and away from people I know, but it'll be fine - I know it'll be over before I know it. I've been pretty manic since I got here - probably the combination of lack of sleep, sensory overload, different environment, etc. I tend to get myself into stupid loops of thinking - in particular, for some reason, about Patrick - but I do this sometimes, so I just have to keep myself in check. I just miss him... and for that matter everyone, but I suppose I've already had time to adjust to not seeing you guys as much as I wish I could. I'm excited to get back to MI, but I know how much I'm gonna miss it here. Its just different, ya know.
Anyway, I hope those of you who are going to summer camp have a blast (since I can almost guarantee I won't see you before you go) and I'm thinking about you all a lot. See you guys soon.
Much Love
-Cottonmouth Out

First off, don't work your nuts off, you need those to butter the bread.
Second, when are you back in the mitten?
Yeah...I had no idea you were going up there. Congrats on whatever it is that you are doing! Also, way to be positive about life. It actually made me think about my gripes and bullshit...and, well, it made me feel better.
