I just went to imdb.com and searched for Stan Lee. I wanted to see how many and what movies he put himself in. Well, I became sidetracked. He has a buttload of Producer/Executive Producer credits pending for comic book movies. Here is (not a rigorous) list of them:

Yay! A Heroes Post!
Just for you, Claudio
While I totally agree with you, they really need their original writers back (season 1), I actually enjoyed this episode (Monday 4/6/09). There was a lot of drama. There was a lot of progression. There was a lot of bullshit.
I knew from the first 5 minutes that Bennett knew that Sylar wasn't dead. I knew he was too smart for that. I mean, he's been doing that shit for 20 some years, of course he'd be too smart for that. But it was interesting to see him go off the deep end and almost end his marriage because Sylar was driving him insane. I hate Sandra Bennett. She is one of the worst characters on the show, but I don't want to see HRG kill his wife to "stop" Sylar. I'm glad he was able to figure out it was his wife he held a gun to, and that he still loves her dearly. I hope he's able to get some retribution. Especially after what Sylar and Danko did to him around those agents.
Parkman's storyline was rather interesting too. I like that he completely tourmented Danko and broke up his relationship...with a prostitute?! Well, I guess if you're Danko, that's the best you can do. But it's good to see that Danko can get fucked over too in this debacle. The only thing I really have a problem with is that Matt doesn't use his powers to the fullest. He puts himself in situations that he can easily get out of, but he just gives up. I want him to use his fucking powers.
Baby Touch and Go. God dammit! All of that was horrible. A Japanese guy with a Texas accent? Ando making a face to get the kid to start the car? What, are we 8 years old? Fucking Christ! I'm glad Hiro saved Matt and reunited him with his son, but I could have done without the rest of it. I need Hiro to use his powers again (mostly go back to his late season 1, season 2 self).
I'm excited to see what next week holds. What do all the skeletons mean? Will Peter get his fucking powers back anytime soon? Will Hiro? Will the season get any better? Will I get a superpower? No, ok, I'll just take a better season. Bring on the next episode!

Heroes is Backish!
It has been a long time since I've actually talked about Heroes. I'm going to give you a heads up in case you have not seen tonight's episode, I'm going to spoil the shit out of this episode. So, before you read this, watch the episode! It was actually a good episode among a bland season so far.
Now, I haven't seen the first 2 minutes or so, because I was still getting to my room, so I'm not really sure what happened to Sylar in Denko's apartment other than handing over the puppet master (whatever the hell his name is). Not sure why he was strung up. But, from then on, it was damn good.
I'm so glad Hiro finally got his fucking powers back! Except I had a problem with how he gets it back. He touched the kid? So what!? He talked about his mother before it happened, is that supposed to be his redemption? Where's the drama, where's the fight? I know Hiro was under an extreme sense of panic, which probably reignited his power, but it all felt...rushed. This is not the Hiro I want to love. But, with that said, I'm glad he has his powers back. Even if they are in a rudementary form (he's kind of where Peter is right now). I'm intrigued at the prospect that they now both have the journey to get their full powers back. Also, Ando is now a saiyan? Shooting electricity rockets? Sure, I'll buy it. I can't buy into the fact that he was so surprised that he could do that, even though he was preparing to do that. That makes no sense, but it was cool to see.
I like Angela Petrelli's character. She knows what has to be done and appearantly can escape from anyone. She's crafty. Oh, and she has a son that can fly (2 of them actually). I was glad to see Peter in this episode, but it was such a brief visit, I was kind of disappointed. Also, what's with the elevator shaft with no roof? Now that makes absolutely no sense. I'm still waiting for Peter to get his full power back...I know it's going to happen. He is way too underutilized at the moment.
It was almost too obvious that Micah is Rebel. I'm actually surprised at how resourseful he is. He's like the computer in Eagle Eye. I can see him being able to evade the agents for a long time, he seems to be honing his skill pretty well. Also, wow his voice got deep.
I'm still not a fan of Tracy Strauss (mostly because Ali Larter doesn't seem right for the part), but I am glad that she's using her powers more. That's exactly where I want to be. I want ice powers and have some serious control over them. Her freezing herself was kind of weird though. That wouldn't happen. I guess she did it to make it seem like she was dead, but it still irked me. She's still alive? What the fuck, T-1000?!
I wish Daphne was still alive. She's so hot.
I'm very surprised that they didn't have Claire in this episode. That's just insane. I thought the writers had a crush on her or something. Same thing with Nathan. Shocked.
I hope this episode was a glimpse of what we'll see in the 2nd half of the season. We deserve a good story. It's the only show about superheroes right now. It needs to up its game and FAST! I still have hope, and that's why I keep watching.

A Look Back at 2008
2008 is almost over, and it definitely has been a mixed bag.
There has been many good things to come out of it. I graduated...finally. Didn't get a job anywhere near my major, BUT I found a job. With these days, that's a great thing. I also found out that I can write off a bunch of stuff and get a huge return on my taxes (not for this year, obviously, but still great nonetheless).
There have been a couple of bad decisions, to say the least. First bad decision of 2008 for me...deciding to lease a car, instead of buying one. When I first got it, it seemed like a good idea. Then I got a job that requires me to travel thousands of miles per month. Now, within 8 months I put on 15,000 miles. Oops. The second bad decision was probably my choice to by a Mac. I don't have any problems with it and it is very fast, BUT everything I need to do on a computer for work involves mostly PC applications. I kinda wish I made that decision after I got the job. I personally don't see what's so good about Macs. They function properly and all, but they have a steep learning curve and I think, overall, I like PCs better. But that's just me. The 3rd one, which is the cheapest (maybe..haha) was allowing this one girl to slip through my fingers.
Oh well. That was 2008. I'm ready for 2009! I'm starting it off right, with a concert (maybe party) in Chicago, with one of my best friends. There could be more people there, but all of you suck.
Hope everyone has a drunk, safe, sex-filled, grape-eating, caber-tossing, pile-driving, beer pong throwing, champagne drinking, money making, drug taking, dance-filled, super-power having, great time on New Years Eve.

A Hero's Struggle
After watching Heroes yesterday and recently watching Hancock, I noticed that the heroes had to fight and struggle in order to keep or get back their powers. Hiro keeps getting the short end of the stick in that department. When ever something goes right for him, it usually ends in heartache, disappointment, or turns into another struggle.
Well, that got me thinking...if you had any power, one that you would want to keep...would you go through the trials of a hero to keep those powers? Even if it meant going through heartache and never knowing if you'll actually succeed? Can you handle the struggle?
My answer is yes! If I had the chance to do something great with a power that's among a few elite, or even if I was the sole person on earth with a power, I would want to do something great. My life would be one long quest, complete with side missions and leveling up...but for real.
Well, that got me thinking...if you had any power, one that you would want to keep...would you go through the trials of a hero to keep those powers? Even if it meant going through heartache and never knowing if you'll actually succeed? Can you handle the struggle?
