In a moment of Life imitating Art, it seems that the Japanese are trying as hard as possible to find a way to bring the dreaded Godzilla from the depths of the ocean:

When asked about the likelihood of spawning their own Godzilla in the sea, Jun Oshima said, "The radioactivity is one-billionth of the legal limit," Prompting conspiracy theorists to assume that the radioactivity is one-billion times the legal limit, Godzilla will rise, and his wrath will mangle the Land of the Rising Sun.
