This coming from the letters section in the brand new issue (Sept. 2007) of Car and Driver.
"...I am finally sick and tired of all the rich and famous assholes who find it necessary to purchase a car of this caliber [Ferrari 599GTB] with paddle shifters. When did we ever decide that shifting with a manual transmission was too hard or not fun?"
I love this guy. I hate the fact that Americans are either too lazy or too stupid to drive a stick. Manual transmissions are almost obsolete in American cars. This makes me incredibly sad. Why can't every car, or at least a lot more, be offered with a manual? Is that so hard? Fucking American automakers. No wonder why you suck.
This leads me to another thought. Why do commercials have to say things like "do not attempt?" Are Americans really that stupid? Honestly. They must be, if they don't realize that they shouldn't attempt anything from commercials or movies or anything that has a crazy stunt in it. I'm surrounded by fucking idiots.
