additions to the previous post...

Since Rambo's post actually missed the majority of shows I really like, here they are:

September 13 - It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia (10:00 FX) - The third season of this cult hit starts with a full hour (two new episodes, so I've heard). One of which involves the gang trying out for the Philadelphia Eagles, and the other involves them finding a baby in a dumpster. Hilarity ensues. Also Seasons 1+2 came to DVD today. excellente

October 3 - South Park (10:30 Comedy Central) - The remaining seven episodes of season 11. 'nuff said

October 4 - Drawn Together (10:30 Comedy Central) - The conclusion of season three, originally cancelled but brought back by... somewhat popular demand proves that Comedy Central still does not understand that PEOPLE WHO LIKE DRAWN TOGETHER ALSO LIKE SOUTH PARK AND WE'RE PISSED ABOUT YOU PUTTING THEM ON DIFFERENT NIGHTS SO DRAWN TOGETHER IS DOOMED TO FAIL AND WE HAVE TO WATCH YOUR STUPID FUCKING NEW SHOWS THAT AREN'T FUNNY. DID YOU LEARN NOTHING FROM FREAK SHOW??? Alright so halfway home was funny but now you're NOT BRINGING BACK THAT EITHER!!! OOG ANGRY!!! OOG RIP OOG HEAD OFF!!!

November 27 (supposedly) - Futurama (unsure of time) - according to wikipedia, this is when comedy central will air the first portion of the four straight to DVD movies they made. I hope they keep this going even after airing those episodes, because I loves me some futurama.

In other tv pisses me off news...
Aqua Teen Hunger Force is no longer on the adult swim line up. WTF Cartoon Network.

A show described as Sex and the City for Teens is premiering??? Why didn't network execs stop this inevitable monster (Gossip Girl) before it aired??? There'd better be subliminal messages telling viewers to kill themselves if they watch more than like 3 episodes in their entirety. because, you know, everybody gets curious to try new things, and sometimes they've already entered into a downward spiral before realizing the slippery slope that they tread.
I will admit that I don't turn off top model when it's on. And occasionally flip to it on purpose. (breaks down sobbing) It's just that TV is so bad now!!! And when they moved always sunny to primetime, I had to find SOMETHING to watch during the summer. I feel so ashamed.

Speaking of breaking down sobbing, has anyone ever seen the episode of scrubs entitled "My Lunch"? Because my God in heaven it is one of the most depressing things I've ever seen in my life. I literally had tears streaming down my face at the end of the episode, which is something that I don't think has ever happened to me because of a tv show. I get choked up, but this was a whole different kettle of fish. Imagine the Futurama bee episode times like 500 and you may get some idea of it.

And I love you for including shows that actually matter.
