Video games give us a reason to slack, a reason to veg, and is a helper in passing that down time but when has a video game really helped you understand anything? Ask yourself that question. They entertain you while you swing from building to building as Spiderman and they test your ability to complete missions and quests. They frustrate you when you cannot get pass that ONE boss that just won't die and they make you ecstatic when you score that game winning touchdown. Yes, video games give us all the widest range of emotions but can they help us understand things in our life better? I believe that there is a small purpose for that in video games, although we very rarely ever notice or pay attention to it. This video game however serves as entertainment (third person shooter) and gives you the ability to understand a disease that plagues too much of this country.
Also, hooray for a health insurance company leading the charge to make sure a video game! Go Cigna!
I believe this is the only time you could hear "the more tortoises and porn that are involved, the better" and probably not be offended by it.
Oh and you thought we were taxed a lot as it is! I know that there are always new taxes in the works and as long as our legislature continues to act like the Sheriff of Nottingham we are screwed. Now they want to tax tickets to sporting events, concerts, and movies. I fucking hate Michigan more and more every day. I had heard about this before, but when you have professional sports teams like the Detroit Tigers post on their website that "We must stop the ticket tax" I think we should listen because they are a business and we both will suffer in the end. It just doesn't add up.
Until next time...
