Friend: we can totally video chat
Me: i dont have a camera on my computer. Wish that i did, though.
Friend: i was excited about the prospect of video chatting
Me: perhaps i shall buy a camera at some point. it would be nice to see you again.
Friend: don't like that part of video chatting. the video.
Me: wait, what? the seeing part?
Friend: yeah
Me: interesting...so what you are saying is that, in essence, you would use your computer like a phone. As opposed to a phone?
Friend: exactly
Which kind of got me thinking; what kind of phone would be so damn ugly and annoying that I would just opt for the video connection on my computer? All signs point to this ugly motherfucker.
